This mat works wonders for my feet. At first I placed a hand towel over it to get my feet warmed up to the idea! Soon after, (the next week) I was able to remove the towel. After using this mat, I usually roll a massage ball with each foot, followed by an epsom salt foot bath. My feet thank me in the morning! Quality product! Very convenient.
