Description

Gymnastic rings are often incorporated into exercise programs nowadays, due to the way the rings enhance the effectiveness of many exercises. Many popular ring exercises, such as pushups, muscle-ups, pullups, dips, and variations of all types, don’t require the dexterity of more advanced gymnastics techniques, which broadens the appeal to the general populace. When the versatility of exercise selection is combined with the versatility of use (they can be suspended from just about anywhere, and some types come equipped with adjustable straps), gymnastic rings become a valuable asset to gym or home enthusiast.

Gymnastic rings made with wood provide a solid foundation for gymnastic strength building and beginner-to-advanced suspension training. With a textured, grip-friendly surface that works with or without chalk, wood rings have a distinct, natural feel preferred by many athletes. Joinfit wood gymnastic rings are also easy to adjust and built with top craftsmanship for lasting durability and comfort.

If not to hang the rings to any existing solid ceiling structure such as pull up bar or suspension frame, you could consider drilling holes in the ceiling and use two bolt hooks or our ring hangers (not included) to hang the gym rings. However, though bomb-proof, this will need your own manual installation that will call for a heavy power concrete drill  to punch two deep holes into the ceiling, many people find it hard to do that themselves and they usually hire a handyman to do that at their own extra cost.  Joinfit do not provide drill rental or installation service.

  1. H.S.

They’re super strong, and come with thick straps, and a very robust, well-built metal lock for tightly locking in the straps. These straps are very long though, perhaps the longest I’ve seen available in Hong Kong. That can be both a pro and con, as the length gives you a lot of leeway for higher mounting, but can also get in the way a bit. Thankfully, they come with a decent velcro strap connected to the straps to properly tuck the excess out of the way while you train.

I love these rings and will recommend them to anyone who wants to get into calisthenics or improve on their skills and training. I unhesitatingly recommend them!

I’m just beginning with these. Pushups and dips but I can feel the difference. Greater range of motion and better contraction. Also doing pullups and chin-ups right off the bar and that seems like a good upper body workout for now. No end to the variety though. I’ll add on gradually. Terrific quality. Highly recommend.

Incredible product! Number markings help a lot and easy to set up, amazing quality and feels durable. The straps are strong, VERY strong. Since this is the first time I set up gymnastics rings I didn’t feel confident on the straps but once I tested them out with my full body weight on ring pullups I felt that these were incredible and definitely worth the money. Just be mindful that you place the strap the correct way so that it’s strong.Overall, I do not regret my purchase: these will last me for a LONG time.

  4. Phillip L.

These rings and straps are heavy duty – hung them in my basement gym, which has a 4m ceiling. Straps are long enough, numbered every foot. Wood rings are big and beautiful. The rings are good quality wood and the straps are wide. Would highly recommend these

  5. Jacko

These rings are fantastic. I compared them to the sport supermarket brand, and these are better quality in many ways. The straps are marked so you can easily set them to equal lengths. They are great for dips and pull ups….really a super workout tool. So much more core control needed….a great way to build core strength. Really increases the difficulty level. Recommend!

  6. Gordon Hon

Comfort: 4/5 stars. If not using chalk, I would recommend some racket tape to wrap around the handles because it’s possible to get splinters running your hands across it. Consider lacquering the wood to prevent splinters, but I feel like a product should be better from the default. With the tape it’s got grip and comfort.

Ring Durability: 4/5 stars. It’s solid wood and great for a home workout. I’d be careful if you’re using outside and exposing the wood to the elements. I’ve seen some examples where the wood starts to split apart after years so I’d recommend keeping it inside.

Strap Sturdiness: 5/5 stars. The buckles are solid metal and have never slipped on me when holding the straps. Likewise the straps are of good quality that won’t break down on you. I’m pretty sure the wood will give out before anything else does.
