The different types of material that foam rollers are made from can cause much confusion, so here is a quick insight into the differences. There are various material types of foam roller materials on the market.
This item is made from EPP (Expanded Polypropylene). EPP – Expanded Polypropylene: This is a new type of foam roller material on the market which looks like it is made from tightly molded polystyrene balls and has a smooth surface. They have a VERY FIRM consistency and have been designed for moderate to heavy use. They are ideal for people who require a very firm foam roller, and would be suitable in gyms and clinics.
EVA – Ethylene Vinyl Acetate: EVA is an excellent shock absorbent material, very light weight, long lasting and hard wearing. This type of material is more expensive than EPP and PE, but is ideal for gyms and clinics where there is continued and long term use. It has a very slight ‘sponge’ feel to it which is ideal for people who do not want a hard/firm foam roller.
PE – Polyethylene: When purchasing a PE foam roller it is advisable to purchase a ‘one piece’ construction foam roller. This is due to the fact that it will retain its shape for a much longer period than a 2pc construction. It is easy to tell the difference by simply looking at the end of the foam roller. If it has an ‘inner circle’ – so it looks like a foam roller within an outer part – it is made from a 2pc construction. 2pc dual-layer construction foam rollers are softer in nature and are suitable for beginners who have never used foam rollers for sports massage before. Some models of our foam rollers are made from a one piece molded construction and is of a harder consistency.

I ordered the 90cm and I’m glad we did. They’re great for rolling and releasing soreness especially after days of high intensity interval training. These are also very high density so they don’t give in at all after long period of useh, which is a good thing. Many others are softer and do not do the job they’re intended to do. I would definitely purchase again. I rate these a perfect 5/5.

Love this roller already. I am still learning to roll BUT beware! Go slow if u have never foam rolled like me. I got it and was excited to use. I rolled my back several minutes 1st time and OMG. Lol I could hardly move for 2 days!! I should have listened to their staff on Whatsapp who told me to start with their PE foam roller instead. Anyway, it’s okie if I go very slow only a few times a week and work up to going longer. I thought it was a huge mistake to buy, but when i recovered and did other sessions after, I felt reaaly great. Got back on it and went super slow. No problems !

i’m a back cracker, i crack it in chairs and in the car twisting and stretching, hanging and there’s a part i can never quite reach and that’s my lower back. overpaying for a personal trainer was worth it in learning about foam rollers alone. this is a good quality rolling foam but really, any foam roll would work, this was just reasonably priced and i’m happy i got it. i’ve learned a few other foam rolling tricks since but back relief is still my most common use

At first try I thought this roller was too hard. But then I got the hang of it and LOVE to use it on my shins and legs. Good thing about the firmness of this is that you can choose the amount of pressure by leaning into it. If it was softer it would not do the job. It does not cave in any even pushing down on it relatively hard, just to say the firmness of it. I’m also happy with the quality as it seems that it’s going to last for a long time.

Well, it’s just a foam roller. It has cool specs in it. But it’s nice, firm and does the job. Did I mention foam rolling hurts? So buy at your own risk…
I’ve had this a while now, and unlike my blue foam roller I bought from HKTV mall, this one does not break down over time. For some it may be too stiff, but if you are an experienced foam roller, then this is the one you want. When I take it to class, the instructor wanted to get one just like it.

I am not new to foam rolling, it has helped a lot. I watched numerous YouTube videos on using a foam roller and decided to get a harder one for my upper back/shoulders. Because I tend to hunch over my computer desk all day, my chest and upper back gets very tight. I’ve been able to use this to roll out those knots, the old roller couldn’t do as much as this does.
Initially painful, you feel immediate effects once you complete the exercise. I am learning to foam roll other body parts as well and hope to feel relief there as well.

I’m so in love with this foam roller!! It’s light weight, great material, high quality and the perfect size for a small person & home!
As an athlete, with a spinal cord injury, good recovery techniques such as stretching and rolling the muscles out is very important for me.
I’ve seriously improved the recovery time after my workouts, but also the quality of my daily life as well after incorporating this foam roller into my cool down/stretching routine.
I would recommend this product to pals of higher levels of fitness and experience in sport massage, otherwise you might feel it hurts more than your soreness! Thank you so much for an amazing product!
